After an alleged choking incident during a quarrel at his Los Angeles apartment, actor Charlie Sheen,58, has been given a criminal protective order against his female neighbor, Electra Schrock, according to RadarOnline.com.
Schrock recently showed up for his arraignment at the Van Nuys Courthouse after being charged with a felony related to the event. Unlike restraining orders that have time limits, a criminal protective order requires Schrock to keep a safe distance from Sheen and his home until further notice.
The 5’5″, 120 lb. neighbor entered a not guilty plea to the felony allegation during her appearance, according to court records, and the judge set her bond at $75,000. Schrock is still being held in jail. She is charged with “Assault With Deadly Weapon With Force: Possible Great Bodily Injury,” which carries a maximum sentence of four years in jail. Her preliminary hearing is set for August 1, 2024.
The purported assault happened on December 20, when Schrock allegedly barged into Sheen‘s house and attacked the actor as soon as he opened the door. She allegedly tried to choke him and tore his shirt during the argument. Schrock then left the scene and went back to her house, where she was eventually taken into custody and charged with burglary and assault with a lethal weapon.
Luckily, Sheen avoided major injuries and didn’t need to stay in the hospital. “Deputies identified Charlie Sheen as a victim of assault upon contacting the parties involved,” the police department said in a release.
