After almost a year of speculation, Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner revealed the name of their new son.
The world was taken by storm- pun intended- as Stormi Webster was welcomed into the world in 2018, but it was quite easy to pronounce her name. But, as Jenner and Scott announced their son’s new name on January 21st, their audience became confused on how to pronounce his.
“Airey or air?” fans are wondering in the comments section of the reality star’s Instagram post. Since the name is spelled “Aire,” it seems to be a valid question that needs answering. As such, Jenner posted a comment under the same post, saying “AIR,” followed by a red heart emoji.
“Aire” has origins in Hebrew, meaning “Lion of God.” Originally, the pair was going to name the baby “Wolf,” but Scott continued to change the name over the next 11 months after he was born- prompting Jenner and Scott to keep the name a secret until it was set in stone.
In contrast, Jenner knew immediately when she was pregnant that she was going to name her daughter Stormi. She said she would talk to her in her belly and call her Stormi then, but with Aire, the name was a long journey.
