Ben Platt and Noah Galvin are engaged. “He agreed to hang out forever”, Ben, 29, captioned the proposal post. Noah, 28, captioned the shots: ‘I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours.’
Platt, who began dating the 28-year-old Good Doctor star in 2020 shared snaps from his romantic evening at Laser Wolf, an Israeli restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. They were surrounded by floral arrangements and candles, the Tony Award winner popped the question to his longtime beau.
One of the images shared by both men shows a close-up of Galvin’s engagement ring, which was designed by Grace Lee and features an emerald-cut diamond.

Interest in the couple’s romance was heightened by their shared professional history. In 2016, Platt originated the title role in Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen,” winning a Tony and a Grammy award. When he left the hit musical in 2017, he was succeeded by Galvin.
As fans may recall, Noah took over the titular role in Dear Evan Hansen after Ben left the Tony Award-winning musical in 2017. They developed a friendship and later formed a romantic connection.
