In a heartwarming holiday gathering, the former child stars of “The Sandlot” reunited in Florida to not only relive their iconic roles but also raise funds for a good cause.

Fans of the beloved film had the unique opportunity to spend two days with ‘Sandlot’ stars Marty York, Tom Guiry, Victor DiMattia, Shane Obedzinski, and Grant Gelt in New Smyrna Beach. The reunion included movie screenings, meet-and-greets, and a celebrity softball game that served as the grand finale.

The event brought together the featured ‘Sandlot’ characters, including Scotty Smalls, Alan ‘Yeah-Yeah’ McClennan, Bertram Grover Weeks, and the dynamic duo of Tommy ‘Repeat’ Timmons and his twin brother Timmy. With such a stellar lineup, it was undoubtedly a treat for fans.

This two-day charity extravaganza coincided with the 30th anniversary of the movie’s release, and all proceeds went to Table 2 Committee, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for local youth sports programs.

David Mickey Evans, the writer, director, and narrator of ‘Sandlot,’ spearheaded the entire event, ensuring a memorable experience for fans and participants alike. The turnout for this reunion was remarkable, adding another chapter to the enduring legacy of “The Sandlot.”
