Andrew Wahrlich known by “AndyTrickShots” on Tik Tok, a resident of Albany, New York has recently gone viral for his tricks.
With a huge passion for creating seemingly impossible trick shots and sharing them with audiences around the world he has been able to create a fan base like no other.
Throughout his childhood, he always enjoyed being creative and increasing his hand eye coordination. Anything from juggling to playing guitar, he just wanted to master his dexterity at an early age and learn as many different skills as possible. Being a musician so young, he always found himself having to choose time between sports and music. This eventually became an even bigger struggle throughout his high school time.
Once he began his college career, him and his friends started the SUNY Oneonta Ultimate Frisbee team. This would ultimately prove to be very valuable, increasing his trick shot skills level and his love for introducing the frisbee into many of his trick shot videos.
You wonder where did all these talented people on social media come from? Well, it isn’t easy to get noticed. Andrew “AndyTrickShots” tried many ways of getting noticed through social media and have struggled with finding his exact niche because of his vast love for so many different hobbies. He started a fishing YouTube channel called “518 Fishing”, has a verified music YouTube channel under the name “Rezon8”, but it wasn’t until he created AndyTrickShots on TikTok that he saw his true calling and saw many of his videos go mega viral!
“While trick shots are my niche, I try to change up the style of each trick shot so that it keeps things interesting and my audience wanting to see what I will try next. I accredit patience and persistence as being the most important aspects of creating a successful trick shot. Some trick shots can take thousands of attempts and many days of filming before I get the desired result. I have found that the longer it takes to succeed, the greater the satisfaction in the end.”
As a content creator, it is very important to focus on how the video or trick shot will be perceived and experienced from the perspective of the audience. It doesn’t always have to be the most difficult trick shot in the world if its engaging and entertaining to watch from the angle of the observer. Give a shot and make your next video viral.
