The sole child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, has died at 54.
Announced by mother Priscilla on Thursday evening, Priscilla said “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”
Just two days prior, Priscilla and Lisa Marie attended the Golden Globes and watched Austin Butler take home an award for his portrayal of Elvis. Unfortunately, two days later, she went into cardiac arrest in her own home. She was put on life support with a temporary pacemaker, but she passed while in a medically induced coma.
Lisa Marie is survived by her mother, Priscilla, half-brother Navarone Garibaldi, and children Riley Keough, Finley Lockwood, and Harper Lockwood. Her son Benjamin Lockwood passed in 2020.
