As temperatures rise, our skin tends to freak out, oiliness, breakouts, and sun damage become more common. But with the right approach, summer skin can be as radiant as a sunset.
The key is balance. You want lightweight products that hydrate without clogging, protect without suffocating. Switch heavy creams for water-based moisturizers or gel formulas, and trade full-coverage foundations for breathable skin tints or tinted sunscreens.
Exfoliation is also your friend—just not too much. A gentle exfoliant once or twice a week keeps your skin smooth and allows serums to sink in better. For those prone to shine, consider using a mattifying SPF or blotting serum mid-day.

And let’s not forget the most crucial step: sun protection. Opt for a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, and reapply every two hours, especially if you’re outdoors. Tinted mineral sunscreens are great multitaskers they offer coverage, protection, and even out your complexion.
For post-sun care, aloe vera gel or soothing face masks can calm inflammation and prevent peeling. And hydration, both internal and external, is your secret weapon. Drink plenty of water and use a hydrating mist to refresh your skin on hot days.
