NEW YORK March 4, 2025 Egerton Crescent Productions has announced a new fantasy film, The Prince, the Sister, and the Serpent. Lebanese-American filmmaker Omar Parker will direct the movie, which brings to life the Greek myth of Cadmus, the Phoenician prince who founded Thebes. Filming begins in the summer of 2026 at breathtaking Mediterranean locations.
“This is a powerful and important story,” Parker said. “Unlike famous Greek legends like Hercules or Perseus, Cadmus’ tale remains largely untold. This film offers a rare chance to share his journey in a fresh and exciting way.”
An Epic Tale of Adventure, Action, and Romance
The story follows Cadmus, a Phoenician prince whose sister, Europa, is kidnapped by Zeus. Determined to find her, he embarks on a dangerous quest. Along the way, he battles mythical creatures, slays dragons, finds love, and ultimately builds the legendary city of Thebes.
