We wanted to learn more about London-based artist Dar.Ra and about his new released Latin Rock song “Rise Like The Sun” and his motivation behind it. He told us, “The song, gives listeners an experience full of powerful lyrics that transcend from soul to soul”. If that is not enough of a tease, we noticed Dar.Ra has released a lyric video so that listeners can immediately grasp the meaning of the song.
The fact that Dar.Ra seduces listeners, drawing them in with beautiful sounds, and then hits them with uncompromisingly direct lyrics and messages that startle them into thinking about things they might not normally think about, especially when grooving to music, is perhaps his greatest accomplishments. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Darragh J Brady – AKA Dar.Ra has been in the music industry for a while with hits in the UK and Australia, signed to EMI, Festival and various dance labels over the years, remixing Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Tears 4 Fears, Savage Garden, and writing for Rachel Brown (Faithless, Groove Armada) plus having music on various Hollywood films like ‘Snakes on Planes’ films starring Hilary Duff on ABC TV, Match Of Day (BBC TV) and US Documentary City Of Hope.
Dar.Ra is also hosting a new hit radio show called The Kusha Deep Music Radio Show, which features all the classic tracks he has produced along the way as well as artists he has worked with over the years. The show is also being broadcast through stations such as London FM Digital, New York FM Digital, American Radio 21, Rádio Fé e Luz Campinas and Vintage FMs Liverpool based Station star DJ Lesily John Benn who puts it out on her show every Saturday afternoon.
