Big Jon’s love for hip hop began at just 12 years old, inspired by icons like Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Eminem, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill, Ludacris, Will.i.am, and 50 Cent. By 16, he was writing and performing his own tracks, using popular beats from artists like Drake and Lil Wayne to hone his skills. His performances at school and church quickly earned him recognition, and even as a teenager, it was clear he had the talent and drive to take his passion to the next level.

After high school, Big Jon took a brief detour from music to focus on education, earning a degree in media production from Towson University with a 3.5 GPA. He worked in broadcasting for several years, but the call of music never left him. In the summer of 2024, he decided it was finally time to return to his first love.
Now, Big Jon is stepping into the spotlight with his debut EP, “HERE I COME,” a six-track project featuring Rise Again, Sponsor, Spirits, Powers, No More, and Don’t Judge Me. Recorded between SongBuilder Studios in Baltimore and Lounge Studios in New York City, the EP reflects his journey of resilience, ambition, and personal growth. Each track carries a piece of his story, blending catchy hooks with meaningful lyrics and a dedication to authentic hip hop artistry.
For Big Jon, music is more than just a career; it’s a mission. He is determined to bring heart and storytelling back to a genre that he feels has lost some of its lyrical depth. His journey is also deeply personal, honoring the memory of his mother, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2021. Every beat, every verse, is a step toward making her proud.

With “HERE I COME” ready to make waves, Big Jon is on a mission to show the world that his name belongs in the conversation of rising hip hop talents. Authentic, passionate, and driven, he isn’t just making music, he’s leaving a mark. And for Big Jon, this is only the beginning.
Follow Big Jon’s journey and witness the rise of a new era in hip hop one beat, one bar, one truth at a time.
