We often think life has to be exciting or glamorous to be fulfilling but the real magic is in the ordinary moments. When you romanticize your life, you turn everyday routines into something beautiful and intentional.

Start with your mornings. Instead of rushing through them, try lighting a candle, playing soft music, or sipping your coffee from your favorite mug while watching the sunrise. Add beauty to your routine by dressing in something that makes you feel good even if you’re not leaving the house.

Next, embrace little pleasures. Walk instead of drive when you can. Take the scenic route. Carry a book or notebook with you. Notice the details: the sound of leaves, the warmth of the sun, or how good fresh sheets feel after a long day.

Even chores can feel better with the right mindset. Play a playlist while cleaning. Pour a glass of wine while cooking dinner. Let these moments be about joy, not just productivity.

And don’t wait for a special occasion to enjoy the things you love buy yourself flowers, wear perfume just because, or make your favorite dessert on a random Tuesday.

If this spoke to you, you’ll love our previous piece on “Little Luxuries That Make Life Sweeter.

Romanticizing your life doesn’t mean being unrealistic. It means choosing to see the beauty in what you already have.

When it comes to making interior design feel glamorous, fun, and just the right amount of cheeky, no one does it quite like Tracy Metro. The design maven, TV personality, and self-professed “queen of color” brought her signature pop-art-meets-Prada aesthetic to a glittering West Hollywood affair on Wednesday night to celebrate the launch of her wildly inventive new book, design by STICKER.

Dubbed the “Sip n’ Stick” party, the invite-only event unfolded in the design district of West Hollywood at the luxurious location of Cosentino City Los Angeles. An inspired space for designers and architects alike, the showroom provided the ultimate setting for Metro’s exclusive gathering. Guests from the design, fashion and film communities came together to celebrate Metro’s new book, enjoying curated cocktails, bubbly generously sponsored by Freixenet, and delicious catered bites, elevating the evening’s already chic vibe.

Tracy Metro, whose vibrant sensibility is best known to global audiences from her hit show House Doctor on Netflix and Channel 5 UK, was a radiant host in her skin tight royal green latex dress—complete with her signature red lipstick. “This book is my love letter to people who love interiors but are too afraid to knock down a wall,” Metro told the crowd as she raised a toast. “design by STICKER lets you explore your style without a budget, a contractor, or any real-world consequences. It’s design fantasy at your fingertips.”

The book itself is a fully interactive design experience, featuring 15 beautifully illustrated, blank-room vignettes—everything from a boho-chic loft to a minimalist kitchen. Readers are invited to fill the spaces with over 500 removable stickers that include everything from tufted velvet sofas and dramatic chandeliers to shag rugs and statement wallpaper. Think of it as adult coloring book meets Pinterest dream board—with serious style.

For Metro, the night was more than a book launch. It was a celebration of what she calls “low-stakes, high-style creativity.” In a town where perfection often overshadows play, design by STICKER offers a refreshingly hands-on alternative. “Everyone here is a designer tonight,” she said, “and you don’t need a license—just a good eye and a sense of fun. Let’s play!”

By the end of the evening, it was clear: the Sip n’ Stick party was a hit—and design by STICKER is poised to be the next big thing on coffee tables, dorm desks, and design studios alike. Leave it to Tracy Metro to turn a humble sticker book into a full-blown Hollywood happening.

Step aside Erewhon—there’s a new elite parenting hangout in town, and it’s got oat milk lattes, sound design, and sensory rooms. Welcome to Kids & Coffee, the buzzed-about indoor play space that’s redefining luxury for LA families—and becoming a quiet favorite of celebrity parents in the process.

“We knew we had something special when we sold out week after week,” says Vivian Ho, who co-founded the 12,000-square-foot concept with her husband, Ken. “But we never imagined becoming the ‘Erewhon of indoor playgrounds.’”

Part café, part Montessori-style wonderland, and part parent sanctuary, Kids & Coffee was born during COVID, when Vivian and Ken struggled to find a space that supported both their toddler and their own needs. “We designed the space and the experience of Kids & Coffee to tackle these issues head-on,” she explains, “by providing children with an enriching play environment AND offering caregivers a space to connect and recharge.”

And that’s exactly what it does. From a curated playlist to award-winning local coffee and private adult lounges, this is not your average playroom. “We figured if parents find the space beautiful and calming, they’ll want to spend more time here, which means more play opportunities for the little ones!” she adds.

The vibe? Scandinavian-chic meets sensory play—designed with intention from every angle. “We wanted to break away from the primary-colored plastic jungle that’s become the norm for kids’ spaces,” Vivian says. “Why can’t a place be beautiful AND functional for families?”

The buzz is so strong, you might sip your macchiato next to an A-list actor and not even know it. “We’d unknowingly have these completely normal conversations with some very high-profile parents about toddler tantrums and potty training struggles—you know, the real stuff everyone deals with,” Vivian laughs. “Then later someone would mention, ‘Do you know who that was?’”

But star-studded status aside, Kids & Coffee has never been about exclusivity—it’s about creating genuine community. “Whether you’re a famous athlete or a regular neighborhood mom or dad, we’re all experiencing those same universal moments,” she says.

Community-building is central to the experience. “The real magic happens in those unplanned moments—when parents realize they’re not alone in their struggles, when they exchange numbers to set up playdates,” Vivian says. “We’ve seen beautiful friendships form between families who might never have connected otherwise.”

Programming includes everything from hip-hop ballet fusion for toddlers to camps with weekly themes like Superhero and Under the Sea. “Our camps have been a game-changer for parents struggling to find activities when school is out,” Vivian says.

For now, the team is focused on perfecting their flagship location—but expansion is on the table. “We’re definitely dreaming big while trying to stay grounded,” she shares.

Still, it’s not the hype or Hollywood that makes this place magical. It’s the everyday memories. “One particularly touching example was a little girl who, after finishing her very first dance class, excitedly showed us her moves—and then asked if she could show us again,” Vivian recalls. “These moments of belonging and support—that’s the real success of Kids & Coffee.”

There’s something magical about a clean, organized space it brings an instant sense of peace. That’s because our physical environment directly impacts our mental clarity. If your home or workspace feels cluttered, chances are your mind feels a bit cluttered too.

Start small. Choose one area: a drawer, a shelf, or your desk. Take everything out and be honest do you need it, use it, or love it? If not, let it go. Donate, recycle, or toss it. You don’t need a massive cleaning spree progress is better than perfection.

Storage solutions like bins, baskets, and dividers can make even the smallest spaces feel organized. A label maker is your new best friend. And remember: vertical storage (think wall shelves or over-the-door organizers) saves floor space and keeps things tidy.

Beyond the physical benefits, decluttering is deeply emotional. Letting go of old items can feel like letting go of old energy or outdated versions of yourself. It can also help reduce anxiety and improve focus.

Make it a habit. Schedule 10 minutes a day or a reset session every Sunday to keep things in order. You’ll be amazed at how much lighter you feel.

For a quick mental and physical reset, pair this with our “10-Minute Reset” article. It’s full of fast, practical tips to help you stay on track.

A peaceful space leads to a peaceful mind. And when your space feels like a sanctuary, every part of life becomes easier to manage.

The way you start your morning sets the tone for the entire day. If your mornings feel rushed, chaotic, or uninspired, it might be time for a reset. Mindful mornings aren’t about perfection they’re about presence and intention.

Begin by waking up 15 to 30 minutes earlier. That small window of quiet time before the world demands your attention is powerful. Start with a few minutes of deep breathing, gentle stretching, or even a short meditation to center yourself.

Next, think about what fuels you. Instead of skipping breakfast or grabbing something processed on the go, prepare something nourishing. Smoothies, oatmeal, eggs, or fruit bowls are great choices. Don’t forget hydration your body needs water after a long night’s rest.

If you want to add more intention, try journaling. A few lines about what you’re grateful for, your goals for the day, or a simple affirmation can shift your mindset in minutes. It’s also a great way to release anxiety or mental clutter.

Creating a playlist of soft music or nature sounds can enhance the mood. Lighting a candle or opening a window to let in fresh air can also bring peace into your space.

Even if your schedule is packed, you can design a morning that feels good. The key is consistency and being kind to yourself as you build new habits.

When asked about the 111th Annual American Indian Student Association (AISA) Powwow on April 20th at the Lloyd Noble Center Christiansen said “I am filled with immense excitement for the upcoming 111th Annual American Indian Student Association (AISA) Powwow. This grand event holds great importance for various reasons, not least of which is the profound influence it has on our tribal youth. It serves as a powerful platform to ensure the thriving continuity of our beautiful language, rather than merely surviving. Moreover, it symbolizes the preservation of tradition, culture, and imparts invaluable lessons to our future generations about the essence of compassion and support for one another. Aligning perfectly with the fascinating theory of quantum entanglement, which we encounter in our everyday lives, this gathering holds an even deeper significance. The prospect of reuniting with dear familiar faces and building the foundation of new connections in pursuit of our shared vision fills me with unbridled enthusiasm. Additionally, the notable achievement mentioned by Robb, underscoring the event’s personal significance and honor further adds to my immense pride. This event truly bestows upon me an indescribable honor that I hold dear forevermore.

“The University of Oklahoma College of Law is Oklahoma’s premier flagship law school. We offer a cutting-edge legal education while creating a culture of service that meaningfully impacts lives near and far.”

WASHINGTON – COIN USA Mint began shipping the first coin in the 2024 Sequoyah Legacy Silver Dollars™ (AWSD) Program on March 27. The Mint facilities in Florida are manufacturing these commemorative silver dollars celebrating the 5th Great Granddaughter Lisa Groundhog. You may recognize Lisa Groundhog more notably as American businesswoman, self-help author, Transformational speaker, activist, financial expert, and philanthropist Dr. Lisa Christiansen.

The 5th Great Granddaughter Lisa Groundhog is the first direct descendant of Sequoyah to follow in his footsteps bridging the gap of communication by translating the expressed wisdom of the tribal elders to the United States of America’s presidential administration to better serve each other and the world at large as one of few executive advisors to the 45th president of the United States of America. Cherokee helping Cherokee in the Keetoowah band also means nations helping nations and the United Keetoowah Band is a sovereign nation within a nation. Groundhog is one of few born into the Keetoowah Nighthawk Society.

“The first coin of the 2024 Sequoyah Legacy Silver Dollars™ AWSD Program celebrates the incredible life and legacy of the 5th Great Granddaughter Lisa Groundhog,” said Mint Director Eric Frechette. “As to hold first direct descendant of Sequoyah to serve in Congress, she advocates bravely for her tribe and country, ICWA, bilingual education, environmental protection, and, most notably, MMIW.”

Mint Artistic Infusion Program Artist Dr. Phil Kapelyus designed the template image, an anonymous Mint Medallic Artist sculpted the image.

“5th Great Granddaughter Lisa Groundhog is an amazing Native American Businesswoman and a true pioneer who works tirelessly to champion indigenous rights,” said Kapelyus. “MMIW, her groundbreaking super-bowl appearance with Lydia Cornell, brought awareness to the world of this tragic epidemic that opened new doors for justice on behalf of all MMIP.”

The coin’s reverse (tails) depicts Sequoyah’s 5th Great Granddaughter Lisa Groundhog donning a turquoise eagle gorget by husband Robb McFall of Brothers Fine Jewelry as a symbol of freedom, protection, and reverence. This symbol of significance in the Keetoowah Band is of great traditional meaning of holding culture as a compass. The entire image is a depiction of the importance of strengthening indigenous language.

The obverse (heads) depicts a portrait of Sequoyah George “Gist” Guess originally composed by an unknown local artist and left in the hands of Lisa Groundhog’s mother Mary Ann Groundhog,.

Sequoyah who is also known as George “Gist” Guess adapted writing to the Cherokee language by devising symbols for each syllable. His achievement is one of a handful of examples in world history regarding the development of an original writing system. After 12 years of work, Sequoyah unveiled the alphabet in a demonstration with his daughter Ah-yo-ka. News spread quickly and Cherokees flocked to learn the system. In 1821, the syllabary was native to the Keetoowah the Cherokee Nation adopted it as its own. Within months, thousands of Cherokee became literate.

The Cherokee Syllabary gave birth to Native American journalism. The first American Indian newspaper, the Cherokee Phoenix, included editorials which embodied the Cherokees’ determination to retain their lands, news on activities of the Cherokee government, as well as relations with the federal and state governments. This written language helped create a dialogue between the Cherokee Nation and the United States Government, and assisted in the preservation of interests, hopes and struggles of individuals during a unique time in our history.

Obverse inscriptions are “United Keetoowah Band,” “1771 Sequoyah 1843.”

Each 2024 AWSD silver dollar is a powerful, inspiring example of the breadth, depth, and range of accomplishments, and the experiences demonstrated by this extraordinary lineage speaks to the contributions women have always made in the history of our country. Coins featuring additional honorees will continue to ship through 2025. View images of the 5th Great Granddaughter Lisa Groundhog silver dollar here.

Global Ascension Studios is doubling down on its mission to disrupt the entertainment industry and its newest partnership with the platform We Identifi might just be its boldest move yet.

After drawing over 60 million viewers on X with its hit documentary The Man You Don’t Know, the studio is expanding its reach by teaming up with the creator-first platform that’s challenging the status quo of digital content: We Identifi. The two companies are aligning to build a new kind of media ecosystem one where artists can fully control how their work is produced, shared, and monetized.

“2024 was just the beginning,” said Joshua Macciello, CEO of Global Ascension Studios. “By partnering with the We Identifi, we are bringing A-list talent, including actors, musicians, athletes, comedians and influencers/podcasters, into a creator-first ecosystem where they can craft authentic content and receive the best deals possible. This is about giving artists control, embracing innovation, and ensuring We Identifi becomes the premier destination for uncensored, high-impact entertainment.”

Through this alliance, Global Ascension Studios is preparing an ambitious lineup of projects from scripted series and documentaries to live talk shows and interactive media all designed for the We Identifi platform. The collaboration not only extends GAS’s production scope but also puts them at the forefront of a movement to democratize content creation.

We identify sets itself apart by giving creators complete autonomy through a self-serve model. It allows artists to run their own networks and choose how they make money whether through subscriptions, livestreams, pay-per-view, or brand sponsorships without the interference of traditional platforms or studios.

“Teaming up with Global Ascension Studios is a game-changer,” said Spencer Gordon, We Identifi’s CEO. “Their speed in delivering high-quality productions, combined with our commitment to creator independence, is reshaping the power and potential of streaming. The GAS-We Identifi alliance liberates all creators from the shackles of social media algorithms and the mandates of antiquated film studios and TV networks. Together, we are building a home for artists who make the content they want to make and connect with audiences on their terms while fiercely upholding our First Amendment rights as the foundation of true creative freedom.”

The app is now live on Apple’s iOS App Store, and the We Identifi website (weidentifi.com) is in beta mode, with more improvements on the way. For fans and creators alike, it’s an invitation to step into something new a platform where creative freedom and audience connection are the priority.

With director Christopher Martini and producer Frank Torchia already involved, and a programming slate that spans blockbuster films, music specials, live events, and digital-first experiences, the partnership is gearing up to leave a lasting impact.

As audiences continue to demand authentic, unfiltered content, Global Ascension Studios and the platform
We Identifi are ready to deliver on their own terms.

Cooking for one doesn’t have to feel like a chore it can be a relaxing, rewarding way to show love to yourself. When you treat solo meals as an experience instead of a task, the joy of eating returns.

Make It an Act of Self-Care

Put on music or a podcast, light a candle, and pour yourself a drink. Create an atmosphere that makes cooking feel like a treat, not a to-do.

Cook What You Love

This is your time to make exactly what you want—no compromises. Try that recipe you’ve bookmarked or recreate your favorite dish from a restaurant.

Don’t Skip the Plating

Even if it’s just for you, take time to plate your food nicely. It turns the meal into an experience and reminds you that you’re worth the effort.

Embrace Leftovers

Cook once, eat twice (or more). Making extra portions means less work later and helps you stick to healthy eating.

Try Something New

Experiment with global flavors, new ingredients, or different cooking techniques. It keeps things exciting and helps you grow as a home chef.

Solo cooking is freedom, creativity, and care served fresh, just for you.

Busy schedule? Overwhelmed mind? Sometimes all you need is ten minutes to reset. Short, intentional breaks throughout your day can help you stay focused, calm, and energized.

Stretch It Out

A few minutes of gentle stretching can relieve tension and get your blood flowing especially if you’ve been sitting at a desk.

Take a Breath Break

Try deep breathing or a simple mindfulness exercise. Just a few slow inhales and exhales can reduce stress and improve clarity.

Hydrate & Nourish

Grab a glass of water or a healthy snack. Dehydration and hunger sneak up on you and affect your mood and focus more than you think.

Step Outside

Get a change of scenery. Fresh air, even for five minutes, can lift your spirits and help you refocus.

Do a Mini-Mind Dump

Write down everything on your mind—tasks, worries, ideas. Getting it out on paper clears mental clutter.

You don’t need an hour-long spa day. Just ten minutes can reset your mindset and make the rest of your day smoother.

In a world that celebrates “yes” culture, learning to say no is a powerful form of self-care. Setting boundaries helps protect your time, energy, and mental health, but many of us feel guilty for doing it. Here’s how to start saying no without the guilt.

Understand Your Limits

You only have so much time and energy. If you say yes to everything, you’ll end up overwhelmed and burnt out. Knowing your limits is the first step in protecting them.

Be Clear and Kind

You don’t have to overexplain or apologize for saying no. A simple, kind “I can’t take that on right now” is perfectly valid.

Delay Your Response

Prioritize Your Peace

Your time is valuable. Saying no means saying yes to rest, creativity, or the things that truly matter to you.
