Her unique storytelling approach caught the attention of legendary director David Lynch, who personally awarded her a full scholarship to his Master of Fine Arts in Film program. Another milestone came when one of her films premiered at the esteemed SITGES International Fantastic Film Festival, an event known for launching the careers of visionary filmmakers like Guillermo del Toro and Yorgos Lanthimos.
Beyond directing, Bagins is an accomplished screenwriter, creating stories that span survival thrillers, psychological horror, and dystopian satire. Her scripts have been finalists in prestigious competitions, showcasing her ability to blend technical mastery with deeply resonant themes.
