The highly anticipated action-drama series Paper Empire made a spectacular international debut at MIP London, captivating attendees with an exclusive screening for buyers of its pilot episode. Held at the IET London on Savoy Place, the event welcomed creator, writer, and director Robert Gillings, lead actor Robert Davi, and cast members Carol Alt and Charlotte Coles, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Exploring the complex world of cryptocurrency fraud, Paper Empire follows Laurence Fintch, a brilliant financial strategist portrayed by Robert Davi. Fintch masterminds an intricate Ponzi scheme, deceptively reporting massive financial losses while secretly channeling the money into an innovative digital system known as “Digital Limbo.” His actions spark a worldwide economic crisis, attracting both law enforcement and dangerous underground organizations.

Produced through a collaboration between Robert Gillings Productions, Tadross Media Group, and Inner Circle Films, Paper Empire also made history as the first American TV series to film an episode in Saudi Arabia’s remarkable ancient city of AlUla.

Following the screening, an engaging Q&A session took place, moderated by Mansha Daswani, Editor-in-Chief of World Screen. Robert Gillings, Robert Davi, Carol Alt, and Charlotte Coles answered a barrage of questions from an eager audience, whose enthusiasm underscored the series’ growing momentum and intrigue.
