Actress Adele Shepherd, known for her role as Ensign Kemi in Paramount+’s Star Trek: Picard, has joined the cast of the upcoming horror film Stiletto, where she will portray a dancer.
A classically trained ballerina before pursuing a career in acting, Shepherd has fused her background in dance with her on-screen work through her production company, Metal Swan Queen. This combination of classical artistry and genre storytelling has become a hallmark of her artistic career.
Shepherd’s earlier roles included a notable appearance in Frank Ballard’s Cigarette music video, which Rolling Stone recognized as one of its Top 10 Music Videos of 2016. Her acting career continued with a breakthrough role as Kat in the award-winning horror short Hair of the Dog, followed by an appearance as Helena in My Chemical Romance’s moody short film A Summoning. Most recently, she made her mark in the Star Trek universe on Picard.
Through Metal Swan Queen, Shepherd continues to create projects that combine her passion for movement and storytelling, exploring new and dynamic ways to blend narrative and performance.
