Actor and social media personality Kristian Demetriou has opened up about his first major acting role in Law and Order UK, sharing his excitement and the lessons he learned during the experience. As a young performer, Demetriou also known as “Demz” landed the role at a critical point in his budding career, setting the stage for what would become a promising future in the entertainment industry. Speaking about his debut, Demetriou recalled the emotions of stepping onto the set for the first time. “I remember walking onto the Law and Order UK set and feeling this rush of excitement mixed with nerves,” he shared. “It was one of those moments where you realize this is the real deal. You’ve been preparing for this, and now it’s time to deliver.” Demetriou played a guest role of Max Dale in the popular crime drama, which is known for its gripping storytelling and intense courtroom scenes. The actor was quick to praise the cast and crew for their professionalism and the welcoming atmosphere on set. “The entire cast was amazing to work with, especially Bradley Walsh, who gave me great advice about staying grounded in every scene,” Demetriou said. “He told me, ‘No matter how big or small the role,
make it count.’ That’s stuck with me ever since.
For Demetriou, this opportunity represented more than just a stepping stone in his acting journey. The role gave him invaluable experience working alongside seasoned actors, but it also offered him a chance to reflect on his growth as an artist. “I learned so much just by observing the veterans on set. Their dedication to their craft, even in rehearsals, was inspiring,” he noted. “It taught me that every single detail matters in a performance.”
Despite the challenges, Demetriou described the experience as unforgettable. “Getting to play a role on Law and Order UK season 7 felt like a dream come true. It’s a show I grew up watching, and suddenly, I was part of that world. It was surreal, but it gave me the confidence to keep pushing forward in this industry.”Since his debut, Demetriou has continued to build on his early success, taking on more roles across television and film. He is now based in Hollywood, Los Angeles, where he continues to pursue his acting career.
