On Wednesday, December 27, the pop sensation utilized Instagram to tantalize her fans with a post bearing the caption, “See you next year.” The initial image featured a compilation of Polaroids, all diligently tagged by the 30-year-old Grande herself, including mentions of her record label, Republic Records, and director Christian Breslauer.
Additionally, the post featured a video showcasing Grande’s mother, Joan, dancing, a photograph capturing Grande in a moment of tears, and an image of a warehouse that appeared to be a prospective setting for a music video. The concluding slide presented a video where Grande, wrapped in a blanket, laughed while expressing how exhausted she felt, emphasizing her simultaneous happiness and gratitude. She amusingly remarked on feeling as though she carried a weight of 3,000 tons. Grande then shared the post to her Instagram Stories with the caption, “The two moods of the album.”
This year, Grande parted ways with Scooter Braun, her manager of long standing. According to a report by Variety earlier this month, Grande has now joined Brandon Creed and Good World Management. She now shares the roster with artists such as Demi Lovato, Charli XCX, and Troye Sivan.
Her latest album, “Positions,” debuted in October 2020, featuring hit singles like “Positions” and “34+35.” This sixth album of hers secured Grande her fifth No. 1 album and even garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album.
