The royal couple Prince William and Duchess Kate have three children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The family currently lives in central London, but are planning on moving to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, just ten minutes from Windsor Castle. The move is primarily for the purpose of sending the three children to Lambrook School in Ascot. Lambrook School is a private boarding school. However, there are other benefits to living in Windsor.
Queen Elizabeth II currently lives in Windsor Castle, and has since the start of the pandemic. That means the family will be much closer to her as well, which William and Kate have stated as another reason to move to Windsor.
Interestingly, Adelaide Cottage also was where Princess Margaret often met with equerry Captain Peter Townsend during their secretive romance in the 1950s.
